Habana Bus Tour

Habana Bus Tour

The Habana bus tour is a popular visitor attraction for those that want to explore the country a bit more, and see some of the more talked about areas. You’re not forced to stay on the bus, and you can get on and off as much as you’d like throughout the day. This makes the $5 CUC per person well worth it. You get to visit around the area for an affordable amount of money, and not have to rely on a cabby to bring you to where you want to go.

How it Works

When you first get on and hand them your cash; there is nothing given to you. You take your seat and go on the trip. When you want to get off at one of the destinations, you go to leave and ask for a ticket to get back on at a later time.

There are generally a pretty good amount of people on the bus at any given time. You can choose wherever you’d like to sit. With many seats on the first floor of the bus, and if the weather is nice; the top of the bus is usually open. This allows you to sightsee, and when they stop at certain attractions, you can go inside them and explore without having to worry about being left behind.

The double decker bus doesn’t just drive around Havana, but also stops in the neighboring cities. This provides tourists with a way to visit multiple areas and still use the same ticket that they started with for a full day of touring and fun.

There are several buses that are in rotation throughout the day, and if one leaves; the next one will pick you up and allow you to use the same ticket that you purchased from the previous.

English and Spanish but most of the tour guides are fluent in other languages and can help.
